You want to protect your workers from that, so a good commercial floor mat to use is a rubber mat, preferably one with a ribbed pattern which adds some traction to the feet.
When it comes to a hospital, another type of mat that would be ideal is the antimicrobial or antifungal mat. These are definitely necessary in keeping the place not just dirt-free but also in preventing the spread of diseases. For other locations, you should also consider investing in mats that are anti-spill, meaning they won't absorb any liquid or oil that is accidentally poured on them.
Commercial floor mats also play a good role in keeping the workplace safe and healthy. Most of the available mats today are made without any asbestos or chemical, and are also fire-proof. So make sure your establishment is safe with commercial floor mats.
